LOBBY GALLERY // 725 S Spring st. Downtown Los Angeles

Amanda is interested in the process of altering our own messages and interpretations of identity and distance; often without us knowing. A Brazil-native that developed her professional presence working out of São Paulo, then Boston and most recently Los Angeles. Her experiences of distance, migration and identity from the places both in her past and future, allows for a particular sensitivity to the themes of her work. Skeleton Women is inspired by the myth of Life/Death/Life cycles of nature and fate.
